The gMotor 2.0 MAS utility is used to create MAS archive files for use in gMotor 2.0 applications only. Once completed, your Utility panel should be similar to the one shown in the Max Utility Panel with GMT Converter figure. From here, set the number of buttons for the Utility panel, and drag the GMT Converter utility onto an empty button, as shown in the figure. This will launch the Configure Button Sets dialog. After installing the plugin components as described in the Installation section, open the Max Utility tab (hammer icon), and select the icon shown circled in red in the Max Utility Panel. Supported texture formats are DDS, TGA, BMP, JPG, and PNG. Each gTex as its own settings for MIP mapping, compression, animation, and so on. The gMotor 2 Texture (gTex) is the basic texture assigned to each stage of a gMotor 2 Material. Each gMat also supports all alpha blend modes, with global translucency level in addition to any per-pixel translucency from individual texture maps. Each gMat has its own Ambient, Diffuse, and Specular reflectivity colors, as well as a lighting-independent Emissive color for self-illumination effects. It supports DirectX Shader Model 1.0 and 2.0, as well as Fixed Function Pixel processing. The gMotor 2 Material (gMat) is the basic material assigned to every gMotor 2 primitive (triangle strip or triangle list). The Plugins require 3DS Max 5.x, 6.x, or 7.x to operate. The gMotor 2.0 Plugin and Viewer Tools are used to prepare and preview meshes for use in gMotor 2.0 applications. They allow users to create their own content, including tracks and cars. Link below. In this archive you will find a set of tools for rFactor released by game’s developers. If you have questions PM me and I will be glad to help. I hope this wasn't too much info all at once. When this is done you will see a message that hardware has been enabled/disabled and u will IMMEDIATELY feel it go on or off with no need to restart. If you installed the real feel plugin right when you start a race or any kind of session you should hear a woman's "computerized" voice say " real feel enabled " also to turn it off and use the stock FFB settings ( which i like for certain cars) then you simple hit the key that enables or disables hardware. You can also make the FFB value in real feel *top one* a negative number which also corrects it. If the settings feel backwards you can change the FFB slider from negative to positive or vise versa. Launch rfactor again and it should be good to go. Once you change them hit file, save and close it. Rfactor download instructions mod#This is when you change them to the ones you got from RFC or sometimes the read me from the mod itself will have some recommended settings. Exit rfactor then go back to that file and you will see * PCC07 * at the bottom along with the default real feel values. If you open rfactor and load any car from that mod and then load the track ( you don't have to drive around or anything as long as you actually load a practice session or race). If you go right to the real feel file you wont see it in there. Example: Say you download PCC07 and install. When you do you will see the name on the bottom of the list in the reel feel file where you mod the values. In order to apply the settings to the mod you want you have to run that mod at least one time. Here is another little tidbit they don't tell you. Also make sure you rate so if you like it others will know it is a good setup. It will say so in the area the settings are in. Make sure you look to see that the settings are for your particular wheel. This is where people who have messed with different settings post what they think works best and people rate it. When you download a mod from RFC there is a red link on the top right that says real feel. The default setup is kinda awful in my opinion. What you do is when you download the folder follow the instructions on which file to put it in. I just saw the post so here you go.īelow is a link to real feel plugin for rfactor.
